We will have on hand the state of the art Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot in the Club Room after the race for participants to see and even try their hand and robotic surgery. We will also have an ultrasound probe that plugs into a smartphone or tablet! Check them out by clicking here.
Come climb stairs to raise money for Kidney Cancer Research in one of the biggest stair climb events in the world! (nearly 6000 steps)
Where: TCF Bank Stadium, race check-in 45 minutes prior to heat and same day registration near Minnesota Tribal Nations Plaza
When: July 19th, 2014, Racing Climbers Start at 7 am (faster racers should register for earlier heats), Non-timed Climbers start at 900 am.
Who: Everyone! If you’re a serious racer or athlete, the timed race through nearly 6000 stairs will challenge you. If you just want to show support for kidney cancer awareness and climb stairs, set your goal and achieve it. At anytime you can step out of the course and walk over to the elevator to the Club Room. If you just want a fun way to spend Saturday morning, walk through and pop some kidney cancer cells and end up in the air conditioned Club Room. Early Bird Registration ends July 10th (Adults $35, Kids 12-17 $27.50, under 12 free)
What: Break the Bank- Climb 4 Kidney Cancer, both timed (chip timers-for the entire stadium only) and non-timed options (climb what you can). Children under the age of 12 are welcome to climb with adult supervision, but are not allowed in the race portion of the climb.

100% of the net proceeds from this event will go to University of Minnesota Medical Foundation to fund Kidney Cancer research. An example of a project this event will support is the funding of a clinical trial of an exciting new medication being developed right here in Minnesota!
