We climbed the Grand Teton for Robert!
Robert Bronchetti
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Founder of Millennium Capital and Recovery Corp, Golfer
Robert had long had pretty great health. Suddenly as he tells it, his life suddenly changed dramatically, “I first heard about it when I received a phone call from my doctor with the results of my MRI while I was waiting to board a plane for a flight to my home in Florida on November 9, 2023. From that point forward I was left with a great deal of anxiety until I was able to have a virtual visit with Dr Weight and establish a plan which ultimately led to a left partial nephrectomy with robot assisted surgery.”
Robert was only in the hospital one night and went home the following day. Within a few days he was back to many of his daily activities, though with a sore belly.
Though the tumor was small, it was in a very difficult position, resting right on the renal vein. That vein must be preserved in order for the kidney to have a way to drain all the blood it filters. Therefore his surgical team had to carefully dissect off the tumor in order to preserve the kidney. The final pathology showed a grade 2, stage pT3a clear cell tumor.
After surgery, his kidney recovered right away and his post operative kidney function was identical to his preoperative renal function.
Mr. Bronchetti wants to recognize his wife Jayne and his children gave him great support throughout this ordeal.
Robert’s advice for other kidney cancer patients:
“Pursue treatment with the best hospital and a highly skilled doctor skilled in the latest techniques for treating your condition.”
