We climbed Mt. Temple for Bill!

In Memory of Bill

Bill was diagnosed with kidney cancer at the age of 61, discovered accidentally during a CT scan or MRI for another reason. Over the course of more than 13 years, he faced the disease with courage, undergoing multiple treatments including partial nephrectomy, surgery to remove portions of the omentum and lung, and medications such as Sutent, Avastin, Opdivo, and Yervoy. Eventually, as the cancer spread to inoperable areas in 2016, surgery was no longer an option.

Throughout his journey, Bill was supported by his loving wife, Barbara, and family. Even in the face of serious illness, he continued to enjoy life’s pleasures, including golfing, biking, swimming, fishing, photography, and spending time with family.

Bill’s story is a testament to resilience, love, and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones. Though he is no longer living with kidney cancer, his memory and the legacy of strength, perseverance, and devotion to family continue to inspire all who knew him.
