Climbing For Donna

On her 60th birthday, Donna underwent a kidney and IVC thrombectomy—a milestone she embraced with remarkable optimism. Instead of feeling discouraged about spending her birthday in surgery, she shared, “I can’t think of a better birthday present than having my cancer removed.”

To honor Donna’s Kidney Cancer journey, we climbed Montana El Mogote Peak in the Dominican Republic in 2019.
