We climbed Mt. Temple for Todd!
In Memory of Todd
Todd was diagnosed with kidney cancer at the age of 55, just one year before his passing. His diagnosis came after noticing symptoms, which quickly became a life-changing journey for him and his loved ones. Todd faced the disease with courage, undergoing surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy/immunotherapy as part of his fight.
When Todd was diagnosed, his family’s initial emotions were shock and sadness—but also a fierce determination to support him in his fight. Todd’s career as an investor and stock trader was a part of his life, but he found joy and peace in simpler passions: hiking, spending time with his dog, cheering for the Wisconsin Badgers, listening to the Grateful Dead, and cherishing moments with his daughters.
Throughout his journey, Todd was supported by his daughters and partner, who helped him navigate the challenges of treatment and the emotional weight of his diagnosis. He endured significant symptoms including rapid weight loss, lack of appetite, bone pain, and fatigue, yet remained committed to embracing the time he had with those he loved.
Todd’s advice to anyone newly diagnosed with kidney cancer was simple and powerful: be with those you love and stay positive.
Though he is no longer with us, Todd’s life is remembered for his resilience, warmth, and devotion to family. His legacy lives on in the love and memories he shared with all who were fortunate to know him.
